Ann Elizabeth Johnson

Ann Elizabeth Johnson, 51 of Williamson, West Virginia departed this life on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at her residence.  Ann was born August 28, 1966 in South Williamson, Kentucky to Bernice Davis Johnson and the late Clarence Johnson.

Ann was a 1984 graduate of Williamson High School, and a 1989graduate of West Virginia University.  She was employed with Frontier Communications in Charleston, West Virginia.  She was a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority (AKA), and a member of Logan Street First Baptist Church.  She was a faithful member of the Rose Sharon Missionary Society and developed a Facebook page where she posted the daily scripture, and she developed the Theme for the Mission’s Annual Kickoff.  She worked faithfully with her mother to decorate and organize various events at the church, and recently organized a Homecoming event for old friends and families to reunite and fellowship together. Her favorite book of the Bible was Psalms 41 that she and her mother memorized together and read daily.  She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Johnson.

Ann is survived by her loving mother, Bernice Johnson of the home; a half-brother, Clarence Parks of District Heights, Maryland; a half-sister, Tracy Turner of Columbus, Ohio and a host of other relatives and friends.
