John Keith Bailey age 59, who resided at 222 Allen Avenue in Radford, VA; formerly of Coalwood, who departed this life on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Christiansburg.  He was born May 8, 1958 in Welch and the son of the late Samuel M. Bailey and Isabelle (Twitty) Bailey Moss.  He was a Big Creek High School graduate and of the Baptist faith.  While living in Coalwood, he was employed as a maintenance/meter reader for the PSD.  For the past 13 years he made his home in Radford.  John enjoyed sports and coaching both T-Ball and the Little League Ball teams.   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mickey Davis and Clarice Bailey, also one niece, Trina Bailey.

John will be lovingly remembered as one who lived to bring joy into the lives of others; especially to his son, John K. Bailey II., of the home, his sister, Susie Bailey of Coalwood and brother, Minister Anthony (Diane) Bailey of Northfork; a host of nephews and nieces; three generations of cousins; which includes special cousins:  Brenda Felder of Blacksburg, Gurney Hale Jr. and Valerie Thorpe both of Christiansburg; many adoring friends; which includes a daughter of the heart, Quanette Hale of Radford.  Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Rest lawn Mausoleum Chapel, on Rt. 20, Littlesburg Road in Bluewell, where Interment will follow.  The Reverends, Joseph Moore and George Masterson will officiate.

Visitation will begin at 12:45 p.m., until time of Service.
