Tony F. White

Services for Tony F. White age 58, of Toano, VA; formerly of Anawalt, who passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Riverside Hospital, in Newport News, VA;  He was born June 4, 1959 in Welch and the son of the late Johnny and Ada (Foye) White.  He was a member of the (former) Clinton Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church.in Jenkinjones and a graduate of Mount View High School.  For over 20 years he was a Caregiver-Supervisor for Comfort Keepers in Virginia. He enjoyed cooking for family gatherings and was a Washington Redskins fan.  Tony is survived by his siblings:  Dan (Cassandra), Clarence. Eric (Shanita), Claudine (Michael) Ford; nephews and nieces:  Quintten (Charity), Shantia, Olivia, Jace, Cecelia and Adriana  his favorite pet, Dusty; his roommate, Paul Ledford and a good friend, Neil Drummond, who were also his caregivers.  Tony's Service will be held at 12:00 noon,  on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Uprising Chapel in Rolfe, with Pastor Donna Jackson presiding, Reverend Pam Newton (eulogist), and Minister Jack D. Joyce assisting. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens 6605 New Hope Road in Bluewell.  Family and friends will serve as both pallbearers and flower bearers.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., until time of Service at the Church.
