Calvin “Peewee” Wilder, 62 of Williamson, West Virginia passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at his residence. He was born on November 5, 1955 in Logan, West Virginia to the late William Wilder and Louella Phillips Wilder. He attended Williamson High School, and was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp and was a Master
Carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Louann Wilder and a niece, Tennille Wilder.
Survivors include three sons; Calvin Wilder, Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; Samuel Warren of Roanoke, Virginia and Jonah Wilder of Williamson, West Virginia; four daughters, Synetha Warren and Carmen Warren Martin both of Roanoke, Virginia; Amanda Warren of Teays Valley, West Virginia and Patricia Wilder of Cincinnati, Ohio; three brothers; Anderson Wilder of Huntington, West Virginia; Walter Wilder of Roanoke, Virginia; and Kenneth Wilder of Des Moines, Iowa; six sisters, Pauline Stokes, Christine Wilder, Shirley Maynard and Brenda Wilder all of Huntington, West Virginia; Beverly Lee of Lexington, Kentucky and Patricia Blackmon of Williamson, West Virginia; several grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews; a loving companion of 31 years, Alina Holt of Williamson, West Virginia; two stepsons, Joshua and Jacob Holt; and a special friend, Troy Maynard.
Services will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Logan Street First Baptist Church in Williamson, West Virginia. Elder Rick Wilkerson will officiate.
