Julie A. Pannell Hairston

Ms.  Julie A. Pannell Hairston age 60, who resided and passed away at 45 Riverside Drive in Welch, on Thursday, August 30, 2018. .  She was born April 16, 1958 in Akron, OH.  Julie was an heartfelt, caring person. Her concern for people is a gift she passed down to her children.  Her favorite pastime was spent playing Bingo.  She was spontaneous and full of life.  The true heart of Julie is known only by God, the Father, who knows each one of His children.  She was a graduate of Sophia High School and a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).  She was preceded in death by her father, David Luck, mother, Ruth Pannell Herndon; son, Vincent Pannell, sisters, Leara Smith and Pansy Miles, nephew, Zandor Pittrel and her significant other, Donald Smith Sr.  Julie is survived by her very devoted children:  James Pannell Sr, of Keystone and Vermisha and Vermish Smith of Ohio; step daughter, Tara(Thomas) Hairston Glen of Northfork; special daughter, Candace Stansbury, grandchildren:  Jalen Cromwell, James Pannell Jr., Chereign Kelsor and great-granddaughter, Aleia Gravely and a host of nephews and nieces.  Julie's  Homegoing Celebration Service honoring her  life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Faith Center Church. 102 Federal Street in Bluefield, WV, with Pastor Lee Randon of the House of Prayer in Columbus, OH, officiating.  Entombment will follow in Restlawn Mausoleum, 6605 New Hope Road in Bluewell.  Family and friends will serve as both pallbearers and flower bearers.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., until the time of Service at the Church.
