Thomas was a very good man. He did a lot to show support to his community and the kids of McDowell County. His passing was a tremendous shock to us all. He was a great coach who made a difference in my brother's life, as well as the many others he coached throughout the years. He left a vacant spot in this world that no one else can fill.
