Angel J. McNeely Short

Mrs. Angel Jeannette McNeely Short age 40 of Hensley, WV passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in Welch Community Hospital.   She was born in Welch, WV on the 10th day of February, 1983 and the daughter of Alma L. McNeely of Hensley and the late Randy R. McNeely Sr.  After completing her education, she began working until she became a homemaker.  Angel was of the Pentecostal Faith.  She enjoyed  watching movies and was an avid camper.  Angel was preceded in death by her father, Randy Sr.  Angel will be remembered as being kind and loving and brave and beautiful.  She is survived by and leaves cherished memories to her mother, Alma; her husband, Jerry L. Short of the home and their  four children:  Emalee (Terry) Horn of Davy, WV, Kimberlee (Nicholas), Haylee (Dawson) and Jerry R. Short all of Hensley; her only brother, Randy R. McNeely Jr. of Davy and her grandchildren whom she loved spending time with:  Noah Onzie Ray, Titus Anthony Lee, Tanjiro James Horn and (their sister) her granddaughter who is due to arrive in 2024.  Angel will be missed by her uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives. A Private Family viewing was held on Sunday, October 22, 2023 and a Memorial Service is being planned by her Family. Services entrusted to Gregory-Page Funeral Home in Welch.
