Early on Sunday, September 4, 2022, Antonio Dwayne Ward also known as "Bo" (and his aunt, Lydia Parham's "Cream Puff") who departed this life in Sevierville, Tennessee at the Leconte Medical Center. He was formerly of Kimball, West Virginia, and for most of his life had lived in Johnson City, Tennessee. Bo was born in Bluefield, West Virginia, on the 9th day of September in 1981 and the son of Bessie L. Collier Cockrell of Kimball and Darrell L. Ward of Bluefield, West Virginia. He was a graduate of Mount View High School, where he excelled in both basketball and football. Bo will be remembered for his love of life, his Family and many friends. He was known as being a "Solid Dude." He was greatly respected and loved by many for his humble, kind and caring spirit. Bo was an avid fan of the Seattle Sea Hawks, he enjoyed sports and listening to music. In addition to his maternal grandparents, Christine Robinson and John F. Collier, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James E. Ward Sr. Bo leaves a life time of treasured memories to his parents, Bessie and Darrell; his son, Kristopher Church and his siblings: Shenika Wray, Shereilla Hearn, Cory Hale, Shatika (Sherman) Jones, Taneisha Watts, Tasha King, Krystal Davis, Justin King and Layla Ward; Bo's paternal grandmother, Mrs. Vennie Ward and special uncle, James E. "Booby" (Ninette) Ward Jr., of Roderfield, West Virginia; a host of other devoted uncles and aunts; his nephews and nieces; several generations of cousins and a great number of friends. A Celebration of Life Service for Antonio D. "Bo" Ward will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Lovely Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Kimball, with the Reverend Kenneth L. Orr officiating. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 6605 New Hope Road in Bluewell, West Virginia. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. Bo's family will serve as both pallbearers and flower bearers. Services entrusted to Gregory-Page Funeral Home in Welch. .
