Antreyo Hambrick Obituary

Antreyo Darrell Hambrick was born on November 23, 1984, in Cleveland, Ohio to Walter Magic and Sabrina Hambrick Tufts. He was the second oldest of five siblings and was preceded in death by his brother, Walter Magic Jr. He is lovingly remembered by his siblings, RaShaun Hambrick, Javon Magic, and Ariel McLin. His bond with his siblings was one of his greatest joys—rooted in deep love, shared memories, and an unbreakable connection.

Antreyo later came to Williamson, West Virginia, where he was lovingly raised by his uncle, Reverend Frank Jones, and his aunt, First Lady Laura Jones, who played a pivotal role in shaping his life. Through their guidance, Antreyo became deeply rooted in the church and committed to serving others. He shared a father-and-son-like bond with Uncle Frank and a second-mother relationship with Aunt Laura, faithfully supporting them with love, respect, and devotion throughout his life.

During his years at Williamson High School, Antreyo was heavily involved in school activities and known for his vibrant presence and outgoing spirit. He formed lasting friendships and created countless memories filled with laughter and joy. He graduated in 2003 and went on to pursue higher education at Marshall University. Professionally, Antreyo worked at Williamson Memorial Hospital in patient intake, where his warmth, conversation, and natural charisma made a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. Antreyo’s life was firmly grounded in faith, service, and love for others. He walked with God, served His people, and lived with compassion. While he will be deeply missed, his family finds peace knowing he now rests in eternal peace, welcomed home by the Lord he faithfully served. His legacy of love, kindness, and service will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know him.

Antreyo leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Sabrina Hambrick-Tufts (Michael Tufts), and his father, Walter Magic Sr. (Sarah); his aunt and uncle, Reverend Frank and Laura Jones; aunts Michelle Hambrick-Harris and Lisa Cardwell; uncle Christopher Hambrick; one brother, RaShaun Hambrick (Johana); two sisters, Javon Magic and Ariel McLin; cousins Patrick O. Harris, Alexis M. Harris, and Pedro V. Jr.; nieces Sophia Hambrick, Rileigh Magic, Janae and Savannah Perry, Rayiona and Maryah Taylor; nephews Joseph Hambrick and Walter Magic III; along with a host of extended family who loved him dearly.
