Arnetta Sitgraves Obituary

" To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under Heaven; a time to be born and a time to die; He hath made everything Beautiful in His own time."

Mrs. Arnetta Leree Perdue Sitgraves wrote the final chapter of her earthly life on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, while sleeping peacefully in her home, she transcended to her eternal rest.  Arnetta was born on January 7, 1966 in Welch, West Virginia.  The first of five children born to Patricia Hudson Perdue of Welch and the late Arbie Lee Perdue.  Arnetta, AKA "Netta," graduated from Mount View High School in 1984.  After completing her education, she moved to Cleveland, Ohio to be with her extended family.  Living in Cleveland for a while, she met and married her husband of 35 years, Kevin Sitgraves.  From this union, three young men, Kevin, Josh and Kameron, whom she called "Netboyz" were born.  Netta was selfless and would start conversations, and complimented people at any place; even at the grocery stores.  She was ambitious, opening in Cleveland, her own coffee shop.  Also, her own girls' group for middle and high school girls.  She worked at a group home to help young kids "to feel seen, and heard."  The majority of her life was lived in Cleveland, as she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2017.  Her smile would light up an entire room.  She was very creative, an avid reader and enjoyed watching her favorite television show, "Gun Smoke."  Arnetta loved going to Church at Second Baptist in Las Vegas. She was a member of Eastern Annicia Chapter No. 14, Order of Eastern Star in Las Vegas.  Her heart was always invested in loving and giving to people.  She was preceded in death by her father, Arbie L. Perdue; her grandparents:  Sam and Bessie Hudson, Grady and Jessie Mae Perdue; her aunts:  Carrie Bradley, Barbara Green and Sylvia Harrison; uncles:  Henry Hudson, Maurice Hudson, Dennis Young, Fred Greene, Raleigh Bradley and Willie Harrison.  Arnetta leaves to cherish her fond memories her mother, Patricia H. Perdue; her husband, Kevin Sitgraves and sons:  Kevin (Nicole), Joshua, and Kameron Sitgraves and grandson, Jonathan; her brother, Grady L. Perdue and sisters:  Tricia, Jessica and Betsy Perdue, Latonya (Eugene) Porterfield, Catrice and Contessa Robinson; her aunts:  Henrietta Peavy, Octavia Maxwell, Maureen Hudson, Doris Young-Leak and Elizabeth Hudson and uncle, Sam and aunt, Elba Hudson; her nieces, Je`Shana and Mayana and nephews, Rashan and Jayce; her cousins, cousins and cousins, too numerous to name.    "When you come to my last party, don't come with long faces.  Come with memories that are happy, in your heart with a song.  When you come to my last party, my host will be the Lord Jesus Christ.  Because it is He who really loved me the most.  When you gather at my grave today remember how much I loved you all! A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Emmanuel Tabernacle Church 50 Chestnut Street in Kimball, West Virginia with Pastor Georgia Smith officiating.  Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 6605 New Hope Road in Bluewell, West Virginia.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM at the Church.  Services entrusted to Gregory-Page Funeral Home in Welch.
