Brenda Gail Brown of Williamson, West Virginia, departed this life on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Williamson Memorial Hospital.

She was born on August 15, 1956 in South Williamson, Kentucky to the late Joe and Elsie Smith Brown.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, John Benny Saunders and a special friend, Neil McCoy.

She graduated from Burch High School and received a certificate in survey engineering from Southern West Virginia Community Technical College. She was a former employee of Trinity Nursing Home as a nurse aide.  She was a member of First Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves cherished memories to her brothers; Marvin (Sherri) Brown of Williamson, West Virginia; Michael and Larry Saunders both of Baltimore, Maryland; Darnell (Doretha) McConnell of Charleston, West Virginia; Michael and Vincent Scales both of Matewan West Virginia; a sister, Ann Scales of Matewan, West Virginia and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Pentecostal United Holy Church at 1:00 p.m.  Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. until time of service.  Elder Richard Wilkerson, Pastor will officiate.  Active Pallbearers will be Reggie Gravely, RayQuan Horton, Rodney Joplin, Dezmon Roblee, Austin Scales, Eugene Thorn, Jr., and Donald Washington.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Donnie Horton, Fred Horton, bobby Ray Horton and Raymond Horton.  Burial will follow in Mt. View Memory Gardens in Maher, West Virginia.
