Mrs. Brenda Lee Cooper Jamison was born March 25, 1947 in Boissevain, Virginia.  She passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 77.

Brenda dedicated the majority of her adult life to the medical/in home healthcare field, where she compassionately cared for others; which reflected her innate, nurturing character.

Brenda was a loving, caring individual, and a devoted child of God.  Her life was a living embodiment of kindness and dedication to her faith and family.  She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, as both gardening and tending to her flowers, were a source of tranquility and great pride.  Also, Brenda enjoyed crossword puzzles; which kept her mind, active and engaged.

Jamison and nine of her siblings:  Eddie Cooper, Ned Cooper, Joe Louis Patterson, Sam Patterson, Mark Patterson and Melvin Patterson, Prince Anna Patterson, Donna Patterson and Marie Patterson.

Brenda is survived by her children:  Tammy Cooper of Columbus, Ohio, Stanley Dixon and his wife, Dawn of St. Louis, Missouri, Sandra Cooper of Columbus, Ohio, Raquel Gest and her husband, Demetrius of Bedford, Ohio, Winston DeHartt III., and his wife, Karina of Concord, North Carolina, Tanetta DeHart of Columbus, Ohio and Tanikia Shepherd and her husband, Dexter of Columbus, Ohio.  Brenda leaves cherished memories to her siblings:  William Cooper Jr., and his wife, Eunice, Toni Corbin and Robert L. Cooper and his wife, Erma all of Newport News, Virginia; Albert Patterson and his wife, Donna of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Ben Patterson of Cincinnati, Ohio and Daisy Mae Patterson of Charleston, West Virginia.  Her legacy extends to a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends who will miss her deeply.
