Charles Dixon Obituary

Charles Lovelle Dixon age 54, of Tazewell, Virginia; formerly of Elkhorn, West Virginia, departed this life on Tuesday, September 8, 2025 in the Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia.

Charles was born on July 26, 1971 in Welch, West Virginia and the son of Willie and Charlene (Carter) Dixon.  At an early age, he attended Mercy Seat Baptist Church in Kyle, West Virginia.  He was a graduate of Mount View High School in Welch, West Virginia.  Charles enjoyed playing video games in his leisure time. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Charlene and his grandparents, Eldridge and Roberta Carter. 

Charles will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, India Dixon; his uncle, George Carter Sr., of Ohio and a host of cousins and other relatives and his caregivers, Antwon and Ruby Braxton of the home. 

Service in remembrance of Charles L. Dixon will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 6605 New Hope Road in Bluewell, West Virginia, with Reverend George Masterson officiating.  Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.   Services entrusted to Gregory-Page Funeral Home in Welch.
