Darlene Lynn Darden-Mullins

Mrs. Darlene Lynn Darden Mullins age 70, resided at 316 Union Street in Bluefield, WV; formerly of Gary, WV departed this life on Sunday, September 24, 2023 in Princeton Community Hospital following a long illness.  She was born in Kimball, WV on the 14th day of February, 1953 and the daughter of the late Jonnie M. Darden and Benny Ray.  She was a graduate of Welch High School and was last employed at Welch Community Hospital.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Welch.  Darlene was a homemaker and devoted to her husband and family.  She enjoyed shopping and having conversations with others.  She gained brothers:  Purchell, Herman, Pogo, Michael, Joe and a sister, Loretta through her adopted, loving parents, Elizabeth and Chester Grant.  Darlene also known as Parfiny leaves cherished memories to her loving husband, Richard Mullins; her children:  Lillian E. (Patrick Malone) Williams, Eric S. Williams, Melinda G.  (Dorian Britt) Williams, Ronyelle D. (Nilsa) Stallworth, and Jacqueline D. Stallworth; special grandson, Torray R. (Jessica) Williams, special granddaughter, Tay (Bride) Hess and bonus daughter, Adrienne "Sweetie" Mullins; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; her siblings:  Charles (Elaine) Darden, Louis Darden, Donald L. Johnson, Irving (Rosetta) Watson, Donna W. (Earnest) McIntyre and Beverly (Carl) Allen; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins; other relatives and friends.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, US 52 & Jr. Poca Stadium Drive in Welch, WV, with the Evangelist Zanetta Stallworth officiating.  Family and friends will serve as both pallbearers and flower bearers.  Interment will follow in Hartwell Cemetery in Hartwell, WV.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM.  Services entrust to Gregory-Page Funeral Home in Welch.
