Donald L. Patterson Sr.

 Donald, who was a long time resident of Bluefield, WV, and departed this life on Friday, in Princeton Community Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Bluefield and the son of the late Roosevelt Sr. and Louie M. (Steele) Patterson.  Donald was a graduate of Bluefield High School. For a number of years, he was employed at the Hickory Springs Factory in Hickory, NC.  Donald will be remembered for his love of family, being an avid fisherman and his favorite sports, both football and wrestling.  He leaves cherished memories to his children:  Sheree (James) Robinson, Donald L. Patterson Jr., Brittany, Jennie and Sabrina Robinson all of Charlotte, NC; his 10 grandchildren and seven siblings:  Sylvia A Jordan of VA, Mable Ben of NV, Lillie (Carl) Bryant of NC, (his twin) Ronald L. Patterson, Roosevelt Patterson Jr., James Patterson and Mark Anderson all of Bluefield; a host of nephews, nieces and cousins. There are no Services scheduled at this time.     .
