Mrs. Dorothy L. Davis-Totten age 86, a resident of Kyle, West Virginia for over 60 years, who peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, evening at Welch Community Hospital in Welch, West Virginia.  She was born on the 23rd day of May, 1936 in Landgraff, West Virginia, into the loving parentage of Lindsay and Mary Davis.  Dorothy was a graduate of Elkhorn High School and in earlier years had joined Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church in Kyle, where she had served as an Usher.  For a few years Dorothy, her husband, James and family had lived and was employed in Manhattan, New York. (Steven Johnson) Dickerson with whom she made her home, Howard Totten of Kyle and James (Steve) Totten-Myers of St. Petersburg, Florida; her grandsons, Kevin (Rio) Dickerson-Cole of Rockmart, Georgia and Matthew (LaToya) Dickerson  and great-granddaughter,  Amya of Keystone, West Virginia; her special son, Christopher Johnson of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; her special niece, Mary (Dwight) Bradley of Winchester, Virginia and special nephew, William Totten of Canal Winchester, Ohio and a host of other nephews and nieces; two special friends, Geraldine Mathews and Margaret Johnson and her many neighbors and friends throughout her lifetime.  Mrs. Dorothy Totten's Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, October 31, 2022 at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church, where her nephew, the Reverend Danny Belcher will officiate, assisted by the Reverend Tim Hairston, her nephew, the Reverend Julius Morrow and Pastor Jerome Powell.   Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 6605 New Hope Road in Bluewell, West Virginia.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, until the time of Service at the Church.  Services entrusted to Gregory-Page Funeral Home in Welch,
