In addition to his Mother, he was preceded in death by his only brother, Ernest "Spike" Young and a friend who was closer than a brother, Donald Smith. Mr. Young was the last surviving member of his original family. He leaves a host of friends and family; which includes his cousins: Joann Moore of Anawalt, WV, Pastor George (Debbie) Scott of Huntington, WV and Deacon Sam (Toni) Scott of Logan, WV and several generations of cousins; a special friend and companion, Patricia "Sissy" Banks of Bluefield, VA; his Pastor George and First Lady Irene Masterson; his Church and neighborhood family and friends.
