Frank Charles Wyckoff Jr. age 60 who resided at 93 McDowell Street in Welch, WV departed this life at his residence. He was born in Welch on the 2nd day of May, 1962 and the son of Cindy Wyckoff of Neptune, NJ and the late Frank C. Wyckoff Sr. Tookie as he was known by his Family was a graduate of Mount View High School. He had served as a Sergeant (E-5) with the National Guard in Brushfork, WV for a number of years. Before becoming a School Bus Driver for the McDowell County Board of Education, he was a Correctional Officer at Stevens Correctional in Welch for 13 years. Frank was of the Baptist Faith and a member of the F&AM Lodge in Gary, WV. His pastimes were spent watching television; especially Westerns and Science Fiction movies and listening to music, "Rap" being his most favorite. Frank was an avid sportsman and a loyal fan of the Washington Red Skins, the WV Mountaineers and the University of Louisville's Cardinals. In addition to his father, Frank Sr., Frank Jr., was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Ethel and Will Jefferson, who raised him from birth. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Cindy; his children: Chiquita Lewis of Princeton, WV, Tevin Wyckoff of Welch, Cody Wyckoff of Bramwell, WV, Asia (husband, Dylan Bailey) Wyckoff of Gary and Rachell Wyckoff of Welch; his former wife and the mother of his children, Deborah Wyckoff of Welch; his nine grandchildren: Niema, Cordaro, KyRee, Tiegan, Phoenix, Zailey, Rylin, Harper, and Codie and two sisters, Julie Wyckoff and April Wyckoff both of Neptune, NJ; several nephews and nieces; other relatives and friends. Frank leaves a lifetime of cherished memories to his Family who will honor his memory with a Memorial Service at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Gregory-Page Funeral Home in Welch.
