Jaumar J. Jones

Jaumar  J. "Shake" Jones of Bluefield; formerly of Gary, who departed this life on Wednesday at BRMC.   He was born in Huntington and the son of William L. Jones Sr. and Zandra A. (Armstrong) Jones.  Jaumar was a 1999 graduate of MVHS and had attended Bluefield State College,  He was  formerly employed at Kroger's, Restlawn Cemetery, a construction worker for Tiffany Manor and for several years employed at Bluefield Daily Telegraph.  Throughout the years, he had attended Church Services at St. James Baptist, Miracle Mt. Carmel and New Hope Fellowship.  He was an all-sports' fan and his most favorite teams were the Jets and the Clippers.  Jaumar was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Zan and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.  He will be remembered as an awesome father to his children:  Jaumaria Z. and J'Maya J. Jones, Ja'Nae M. Craighead and their mother, Monica Craighead all of Bluefield; Jaumar J. II. and Ja'Kyrie E. Jones and their mother, April Brown all of the home; his two brothers, William L. "Quarter Lounge" Jones Jr. of Gary and Landan T. Jones of Bluefield and his mother, Delores "Boogie" Jones of Gary; two nieces, Cheyenne Jones and Jasmine Perry; his five great nephews and nieces; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; his many devoted friends; which includes, Dr. David (Charlotte) Eells.  Services for Jaumar will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Miracle Mt. Carmel Church in Kimball, with Pastor Anthony Blair officiating.  Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Bluewell.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., until the time of Service at the Church.
