Jean Etta Robinson

Ms. Jean E. Robinson age 82, a long time resident of Welch, West Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 in the comforts of her home.

Jean was born in Landgraff, West Virginia on February 14,  1943 and the daughter of James D. Sr. and Mary Belle Williams Robinson.  She was raised in a Christian home in Landgraff and a graduate of Kimball High School.  She enjoyed shopping, traveling and watching television; especially bingo games. 

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, James Sr., and Mary; nine of her siblings:  Freddie, Lawrence, Kenneth, Stanley, William, Katherine, Helen, Mary "Lorine," and Gladys.  

Jean is survived by her younger twin sister, Jan E. Robinson and one brother, James D. Jr., and his wife, Vanessa Robinson of Mt. Vernon, New York; two sisters-in-love, Pat Robinson of Charleston, West Virginia and Mary Ann Robinson of Becon, New York; her special, devoted nephew, Larry Robinson and a host of other nephews, nieces and cousins; her special neighbor and friend, Edith M. "Edie" Hankins.  Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 noon, on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 6605 New Hope Road in Bluewell, West Virginia with Reverend George Masterson officiating.  Interment will follow in Restlawn Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be her nephews and friends. Visitation 11:30 AM.  Services entrusted to Gregory-Page Funeral Home in Welch, West Virginia.
