Jerrod D. Ivy

Jerrod was born in Welch, WV and the son of Edward and Janie Mae (Ivy) Patterson of Princeton, WV.  He was a member of Upland Missionary Baptist Church and a graduate of Mount View High School.  While living in Axton, VA, he was a factory worker.  Bucho was both a Steelers' & Lakers fan and enjoyed watching their games on television      He was preceded in death by his grandparents:  Ed and Emma Law, Eddie Patterson and Mary Mansfield; his siblings:  Mario Ivy, Jerome Patterson, Michelle Ivy and Marie Anthony.  In addition to his parents, Edward and Janie, Jerrod leaves lasting memories to his children:  Ja'Nazjah Ivy, Joseph Spriggs and Nevaeh Ivy; his siblings:  Barbara (Michael Sr.) Ward, of Kimball, Eddie (Helen) Ivy of Charleston, Linda Ivy of Elkhorn, Edward Ivy of (Coppers Hill) Elkhorn, Tonya (Dante) Kelly of Douglasville, GA, Jermaine (Shanee) Ivy of Axton and Carlos Ivy of Princeton; his special aunt, Brenda (Morris) Marshall of Elkhorn; his 2nd mother, Ollie "Lil Sister" Watkins a host of uncles, and aunts; two generations of nephews and nieces; a multitude of cousins and friends.  Jerrod's Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Upland Missionary Baptist Church 9 Chapel Road in Upland, WV.  The Revs:  Dane Moore presiding and Jerome Powell eulogist, assisted by: the Revs:  Harold Calloway, David Cooper, Timothy Hairston and David Helm. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 450 N. Courthouse Road in Princeton.  Pallbearers and flower bearers will be both family and friends.  Visitation, 6:00 -8:00 p.m., on Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Church and one hour prior to Service on Saturday.
