"As long as life and memory last" we will remember Jimmy Michael Logan age 66, who resided at 19653 Coal Heritage Road in Welch, WV and peacefully departed this life on Friday evening, May 13, 2022 in the comforts of his home. Jimmy Michael was born in Welch on the 23rd day of November, 1955 into the loving parentage of Betty L. (Adams) Jackson of Welch and the late William J. Logan. After completing his education, Jimmy Michael began traveling throughout the United States and other countries. He was a self-employed carpenter and was known for his meticulous masonry skills. No matter where life took him, his heart and home always remained in Welch. Jimmy enjoyed riding his four wheeler in the mountains and could have survived off the land, had he ever been stranded. Jimmy was a builder, and his gardening skills both fruit and vegetables could not be matched. He loved caring for stray animals and wildlife who visited regularly. Jimmy Michael's convictions were, "I may not get everything done right in this life, but God knows my heart." He spent hours watching television ministers and reading the Bible. In addition to his father, William J. Logan, Jimmy was preceded in death by several relatives. Jimmy Michael will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his mother, Betty and his sister, Linda Williams of Staffordsville, KY, who were his devoted caregivers; his stepdad, Ellis England of Capels, WV; his sons, Eric Mullins and family of Tiffin, OH and David Allen and his family of Welch; his four sisters: Laura Daniels of Welch, Diana Reed of Rhodell, WV and Virgie Sue Brown and her husband, Barry of Mooresville, NC and Denise England of Capels; a host of nephews, nieces, many cousins; other relatives and friends. Jimmy Michael Logan's Family will gather at a future date for a memorial service. Services entrusted to Gregory-Page Funeral Home in Welch.
