Ms. April M. Austin

Ms. April Michelle Austin age 40, who resided at 45 Riverside Drive in Welch, WV, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at her home.  April was born in Galax, VA , December 29, 1980 and the daughter of Billy D. Austin of Fancy Gap, VA  and Patty Dillow of Independence, VA.  After completing her education, April became a wife, mother and homemaker.  Throughout her life time, she had worked and was last employed as a cook at the Little General Store in Welch.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Austin.  April leaves cherished memories to her Father, Billy (Diane) and her Mother, Patty (Sammy); her two children:  Zackary Davis of Galax and Oceanna Knickerbocker of Greensboro, NC; one granddaughter, Emelia Wagg of Galax; her three sisters:  Melissa (Luke) Bowman of Coalwood, WV, Ashley (Charles) Bourne of North Wilkesboro, NC and Tia (Andrew) Akers of Fancy Gap; several nephews, nieces and her life's mate, Steven Bowman Jr. of Coalwood.  April's request is being honored by her Family, as no public Visitation or Service will be held.  Arrangements entrusted to Gregory-Page Funeral Home in Welch.
