Rashad Ali Giles

It is with deep sorrow and much love, that we announce the passing of Rashad Ali Giles, age 47 of Princeton, West Virginia, on Sunday, June 21, 2026 in Roanoke, Virginia. 

Born on January 4,1979 in Welch, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Edgar D. Giles and Patricia R  Neal Giles.  In his younger years, he joined Apostolic Temple Church in  Gary, West Virginia and had attended Mount View High School. 

While living in Charleston, West Virginia, he was employed by a Cincinnati, Ohio based janitorial service and was an avid fisherman.. 

Rashad will be remembered and missed by his daughter, Nikkiah Brown and his two sons, Zadain Davis and Jakobe "Stink" Hodges and his companion, Jennifer.  Also, he is survived by his brothers:  Roderick Neal, Nathaniel Neal, Edgar Froe, Michael Horton and Tony Easley; a host, of uncles and aunts; nephews and nieces; many cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
