Raymond L. Brown Sr.

Raymond Lee Brown Sr., age 58, who resided at 45 Riverside Drive in Welch, WV departed this life on Saturday, October 23, 2021 in the comforts of his home. He was born May 10, 1963 in Welch and the son of the late Jacqueline Brown and Charles Edwards.  He was raised in Powhatan, WV and completed his education at Northfork High School.  While living in Columbus, OH, he was employed at the Chocolate Factory and was of the Baptist Faith.  Raymond enjoyed cooking and spending time with his Family.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three of his siblings:  Paula Clark, Mark and Leonard Brown.  He leaves cherished memories to his sons:  Raymond Jr., Brian and Jerod Brown; his five brothers:  Theodore, Douglas, Gerald, Stephen and David Brown; his 11 grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church in Kyle, WV with Pastor Walter E. Clay presiding and Elder John Hale eulogist.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. His Family and friends will serve as both pallbearers and flower bearers.  Services entrusted to Gregory-Page Funeral Home in Welch, (to leave online condolences:  gregory-pagefh.com.)  COVID protocol will be followed and the wearing of masks.
