Obituary
Raymond Lee "Frame" Thomas age 65, who resided at 73 Turn hole Branch Road in Thorpe, WV departed this life on Monday, December 19, 2022 in the comforts of his home. He was born February 16, 1957 in Welch, WV into the very loving parentage of Opal Lorene (Brogdon) and Weldon S. Thomas Jr. After completing his education at Gary High School, Raymond was employed by the City of Welch before he moved and worked in Philadelphia, PA. Raymond had a quiet, easy going personality and was loved by his Family and friends. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed fishing at his most favorite fishing spot. In addition to his parents, Weldon Jr. and Opal "Lorene" Thomas, Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Fortune Thomas and both his maternal and paternal grandparents. Raymond leaves a life time of cherished memories to his devoted siblings: Weldon S. (Shirley) Thomas III., of Thorpe, Chester S. (Karen) Thomas of Mint Hill, NC, Lorenzo R. (Linda) Thomas of Thorpe, Andrew L. (Cathy) Thomas of Montcalm, WV, Maurice E. (Sabrina) Thomas of Winston-Salem, NC, Frances Ann Lee of Radcliff, KY and Dietrich G. (Frank) Edwards of Winston-Salem, NC; one aunt, Bertha Pierce of Columbus, OH; a host of nephews, nieces and several generations of cousins; his neighbors and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Gregory-Page Funeral Home in Welch.
