Ryan Matthew Anthony age 36 of Maybeury, West Virginia passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025 in the comforts of his home. He was one of four children born into the loving parentage of Marilynne Graham Anthony and the late Alexander Anthony Sr.
Ryan was born in Bluefield, West Virginia, on March 11, 1988 and a graduate of Mount View High School in Welch, West Virginia. He was of the Baptist Faith.
For the past several years, he was employed as a driver/supply delivery man at Advance Auto Supply in Bluefield. Ryan was an avid fan of the Los Angeles Rams football team, he spent time on social media and enjoyed hanging out with friends. In addition to his father, Alexander Sr., Ryan was preceded in death by both his maternal grandparents, Margaret and Walter Graham and paternal grandparents, Geraldine and Jesse Anthony.
Ryan leaves a life time of cherished memories to his mother, Marilynne Clay and her husband, David, his stepfather of Bluefield, West Virginia; his only sister, Alexandra (Kevin Fields) Anthony of Bluefield, West Virginia and his two brothers, Brian Graham of Charlotte, North Carolina and Alexander Anthony Jr., of Salem, Virginia; his nephews and nieces; his uncles, aunts and many cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Greater Mount Zion Pentecostal Church 104 Park Street in Bluefield, West Virginia with Kenny Bogart, Pastor of Freedom Worship Ministries in Bramwell, West Virginia eulogist, Pastor Kenneth Brown Sr., presiding, and the Reverends Jerry Esters and Timothy Hairston assisting. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Garden 450 Courthouse Road in Princeton, West Virginia. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until the hour of Service. Services entrusted to Gregory-Page Funeral Home in Welch.
