Shavonda Lewis

Ms. Shavonda Jamese Shampaigne Lewis age 40 of Berwind, WV who departed this life on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Welch Community Hospital in Welch, WV.  Vonnie as she was affectionately known was born March 29, 1982 in Bluefield, WV and the daughter of Huberta and James Lewis.  Living life on her own terms, Shavonda loved all things crafty and she really enjoyed drawing, painting and writing.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Shirley and Eugene Keller; her paternal grandparents, Mildred and Odell Lewis and James Parrish and her paternal great-grandmother, Virginia "Ms.Tom" Miller.  Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Huberta and James of Berwind; her brother, James "Siki" Lewis of Texas, one sister, Sechora Lewis of Berwind and her only nephew with whom she had a very special bond, (her Puttynose) Donovin Bradley and a host of  aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends.  Those who knew Vonnie knows she never wanted anyone to stress over her.  It is because of her unselfish belief that her Family has requested no Services.  Also, the Family is truly grateful for the respect and for allowing them to grieve privately during this most sorrowful time.  Arrangements entrusted to Gregory-Page Funeral Home.
