Tiffany D. "Tiff" Wooden

Tiffany Delano "Tiff" Wooden age 57, a native of Maybeury, WV was born on September 11, 1962 in Welch, WV and was a blessing from the Lord to his parents, Clara M. Wooden and the late Frank Wooden Jr.  On July 1, 2020 his mother, Clara graciously released him back to the Lord at the Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV.    Tiff attended Switchback Elementary, Elkhorn Middle School and was home schooled during his high school years. He was so lovingly and patiently cared for by his Mother for the past forty years, due to an auto/bicycle accident that disabled him.  Although Tiff was disabled, he managed to live an adventurous filled life, the best that he could.  At a very young age, Tiff enjoyed fishing; he had a passion for drawing, sketching, was a certified swimmer and genuinely loved the outdoors.  He was baptized at the Original Glorious Church of God in Christ in Maybeury, WV.  In addition to his father, Frank Jr., he was preceded in death by one brother, Ricardo E. Wooden; his grandparents:  Elizabeth and Frank Wooden Sr., and Edward and Lottie Robinson.  He is survived by his mother, Clara; his two brothers, Gary L. and Frank-Zackary (Stephanie) Wooden both of Taylorsville, NC; his sister, Rhonda M. (Wayne) Johnson of Rex, GA; his six aunts:  Alberta Wallace of Welch, WV, Ethel Mullins of Bluefield, WV, Vernice Jones, Pauline (Frank) McCrary, and Doris Barrett all of Columbus, OH and Geraldine Robinson of New York, NY and a special cousin who also loved him, Ella Mae Hairston of Maybeury; four nephews:  Channing (Jessika) of Bakersfield, CA, Matthew (Alecia) of Taylorsville, NC, Chanse (Tierra) of Hampton, GA and Zachary "Lil Zach" of Bluefield, WV and his niece, Tyieka "Kiki" of Taylorsville, NC.  "Tiff" will be sadly missed by a host of other family and friends who loved him dearly.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, July 10, 2020 at the Restlawn Mausoleum Chapel, 6605 New Hope Road in Bluewell, WV, with the Elder Ray Hamlett officiating.  Family and friends will serve as both pallbearers and flower bearers.  The Family will receive friends at 11:30 a.m., until the time of Service. (Social distancing and wearing masks will be observed)  Services entrusted to Gregory-Page Funeral Home in Welch, WV.
