Minister Victoria "Vickie" M. Keith-Lane age 69 of Kimball, WV; formerly of Welch, WV who transitioned from earth to heaven on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Lewis-Gale Montgomery Hospital in Blacksburg, VA. Minister Vickie, as she was lovingly known was born on the 7th day of May, 1952 in Newhall, WV. She was one of fourteen children born into the loving parentage of Theodore Sr. and Pauline (Woods) Keith. She was a graduate of Big Creek High School and had attended West Virginia State College. She was a homemaker and had worked as a cook at the (old) West Virginia Drive-In for several years. Minister Vickie was a devoted, faithful member of the (former) Free Mission In Christ Church in Yukon, WV and was the last charter member. She had served as both a Minister and the Church Treasurer and had diligently worked wherever needed. She loved the Lord, her family and family reunions. Also admired for being a true "people person," Minister Vickie enjoyed helping others; especially during the area food and clothing distributions where she often volunteered. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five of her siblings: Theodore Jr., Mason, Warren and Wayne Keith and Janice G. Hayford. Vickie will be lovingly remembered for her beautiful spirit and smile. She will be greatly missed by her only son, Jason Lane of Welch and her four grandchildren: Victoria, Nevaeh, Noah David and Keiran "DJ"; her eight siblings: Gloria Carroll, Geralene L. Garcia, Russell L. Keith, Marva A.Yates, Leonard D. (Sarah) Keith, Steven M. (Carol) Keith, Randall K. (Geraldine) Keith, Angela J. (Ronald) Nowlin, her sister-in-law, Wanda Keith and brother-in-law, Lyle Hayford; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Minister Vickie's Homegoing Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, November 22, 2021 at the St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 315 Court Street in Welch, with Pastor George Masterson presiding and Minister Benny Wilson eulogist. Interment will follow in Hartwell Cemetery in Hartwell, WV. Family and friends will serve as both pallbearers and flower bearers. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Services entrusted to Gregory-Page Funeral Home in Welch, (to leave online condolences: gregory-pagefh.com.) Both COVID protocol and the wearing of masks will be followed.
